The unit performs Ultrasound-Guided diagnosis, and specializes in the diagnosis and monitoring of tumors in the neck area (such as thyroid), but also in other areas (stomach, groin, etc.). Ultrasound-guided biopsies are also performed, with an emphasis on maximum diagnostic accuracy including a present cytologist. The information obtained is a significant contribution to the treatment planning (surgical or other) and follow up while in close collaboration with the A.R.M center doctors and the referring doctors from the community.
